Graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1965 with a B.S. in Naval Science. Served as a Naval Aviator for twenty years which included two combat tours in Vietnam. Graduated from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School with a M.S. in Operations Research in 1972. Graduated from the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School in 1975 and was the Lead Test Pilot for the early developmental flying of the F/A-18 aircraft. Retired from the Navy in 1985 and entered the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin as a Postulant from the Diocese of West Texas. Graduated with a Master of Divinity in 1988 and was ordained to the Deaconate in May of 1988 and to the Priesthood in December 1988. Served at St. Thomas in San Antonio as an Assistant/Interim Rector from !988-1990. Served as Vicar/Rector of St. Christopher’s by-the-Sea in Portland, Texas from 1990-1995 and helped them achieve parish status. Served as Rector of St. Andrew’s, San Antonio from 1995-2005 and was called as Canon Missioner of the Eastern Partnership in Ministy beginning October 1, 2005.

Graduated from Oklahoma State University 1957 and 1967 with BS and MS in Chemical Engineering. Worked for Phillips Petroleum Company as a Process Development Engineer, then Senior Engineering Analyst in their computing department. Served in the US Air Force as a weather officer and forecaster, discharged with rank of Captain, USAFR. Graduated from Nashotah House 1974 Cum Laude. Ordained Deacon 6/22/74 and Priest 12/21/74 by Bishop Chilton Powell of Oklahoma. Served as Curate at Grace Church, Muskogee, OK, as Vicar then Rector of St. Andrew's, Broken Arrow, and as Pastor of All Saint's Nova Cluster and vicar or rector of the four cluster churches in Pittsburg, KS, Ft. Scott, KS, St. Mary's, Galena, and St. Stephen's Columbus. Retired in 1996 (Diocese of Kansas) and moved to San Marcos, TX. Began working with Partners In Ministry in 1997, continuing to date.

The Reverend Douglas W. Hutchings

Educated at Johns Hopkins University and Virginia Theological Seminary, Father Hutchings has forty-five years of experience in the ordained ministry, with approximately sixteen of those years as a bi-vocational priest. He was Ordained to the Diaconate on June 24, 1960 and to the Priesthood on June 1, 1961. Father Hutchings began his ordained ministry in the Diocese of Maryland, establishing two new congregations and the first Covenant Parish. He then served the Diocese of Texas as General Missioner, establishing four congregations. Among his honors, he has served as Assistant Secretary for the House of Bishops and in the same position for the House of Deputies at several General Conventions of the Episcopal Church. He has lived overseas in both England and Australia and traveled extensively in many parts of the world. Father Hutchings has led several Pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Middle East. He began serving PIM in January, 2006.

The Reverend Lloyd W. Johnson

Graduated from the University of Miami in 1963 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Moving then to Nashotah House in Wisconsin, he received his Bachelor of Divinity in 1966. While serving as curate at St. Gregory’s Church in Boca Raton, Florida, he married Jane Fontaine Gray. By 1974 they had three children and moved to Canton, Illinois, where he served as Rector until 1984. From then until 2001 the Johnson family served at Saint Paul’s, Pekin, Illinois. By 2001 the children had all left the nest and the Johnson’s moved on to St. Alban’s, Fort Wayne, Indiana. For about twenty years Lloyd and Janie served with others in Episcopal Marriage Encounter, assisting in the presentation of Marriage Encounter Weekends throughout North America. Currently retired, Fr. Lloyd and Janie live in San Antonio. Fr. Lloyd began serving PIM in August, 2007.

Priest, teacher, writer, artist and grandmother, Sharon grew up in east Texas near Beaumont. Over the years she has worked in various teaching positions as well as running her own graphics art studio before attending seminary in 1983. She has earned several degrees: B.F.A., M. Ed., M. Div. and D. Min. Before going to St. Michael and All Angels in Dallas she was an associate at Holy Spirit in Houston. She and her husband Mike are retired and moved to La Grange, Texas in 2006. Her daughter Genevieve Razim is newly ordained as a priest and works at Palmer Memorial in Houston. Sharon began serving as supply priest for PIM in November 2007.
